ADDITOL® XL 6557

ADDITOL® XL 6557 by allnex is a crosslinkable polymeric grinding medium. It provides pigment wetting, low paste viscosity and good pigment stabilization in pigment pastes. Finished coatings tinted with this product have high hardness, yellowing resistance, high gloss, good drying properties and good water- & weather resistance. It is recommended for solvent-borne industrial applications such as coil coatings, marine & heavy duty anti-corrosive paints, agriculture, industrial wood and other metal coatings. Combination with co-dispersants is strongly recommended to improve pigment stabilization and mill base viscosity reduction. ADDITOL® XL 6557 shows excellent compatibility with 2-component alkyd, acrylic & epoxy, physical drying acrylic, melamine-based crosslinkers, cellulose aceto butyrate and nitro cellulose. It can be stored for 2 years at storage temperature up to 25°C. Its form of delivery is 70% in solvent naphtha 150/180 (also containing 4% xylene).
