ADDITOL® XL 6589

ADDITOL® XL 6589 by allnex is a thermoplastic grinding resin with excellent compatibility in refinish & industrial paints. It delivers excellent dispersing results when added in the mill base together with pigments, dispersants, and extenders. Using ADDITOL® XL 6589 with ADDITOL® VXL 6212 or ADDITOL® VXL 6237N produces pigment concentrates with excellent color development, stability and low viscosity. This combination can be used for inorganic and organic pigments, fillers and extenders. Concentrates with these combinations can be utilized in paint systems without negative impact on finished paint film hardness. Provides anti-floating (rub-out) and anti-sedimentation effect. Offers extreme hydrophobic polymer allows improved corrosion, water, humidity and weather resistances. Recommended for 2 pack acrylic, epoxy, alkyd & polyester resin paint systems. Suitable for high gloss, exterior, durable paint systems, metallic paints and low VOC applications. Recommended use level is 5-18% for inorganic pigments or extenders and 30-50% for organic pigments. ADDITOL® XL 6589 has a shelf life of 730 days.
