Disponil® 286 by BASF is non-ionic wetting agent for aqueous coatings. Used as a stabilizer in emulsion paints and emulsifier in manufacture of tinting pastes and pigment preparations. Offers good compatibility and emulsifying properties. Exhibits increased stability of paint viscosity and an improved suspension of pigments. It is designed for clear and pigmented alkyd resin and nitrocellulose emulsions. Disponil® 286 is suitable for highly pigmented interior paints, emulsion paints and pigment concentrates. Approved by FDA 1.783.400.
