FoamStar® SI 2213

FoamStar® SI 2213 (Old name: Dehydran® 1513) by BASF is a defoamer based on polymeric dispersion. It shows excellent compatibility based on finely dispersed acrylics. It has little to no effect on the swelling of rubber stereos, inking rollers or blankets. This colorless, slightly cloudy liquid is a mixture of foam-destroying polymers, emulsifiers and silicone. It prevents foam in clear and lowly pigmented aqueous coatings. FoamStar® SI 2213 is suitable for printing inks and architectural coatings. Its shelf life is 2 years. The recommended dosage level is 0.1-0.5%.
