Borchers® AF 1270 by Borchers (Milliken) is a silicone-based, polysiloxane containing defoamer and air release agent for solvent-based systems. Offers good binder compatibility. It contains anti-cratering properties as active ingredients including fluorinated, organo-modified polysiloxanes.
  • It supports fast air release of entrapped air on the film surface and has little impact on film integrity.
  • Borchers® AF 1270 is recommended for solvent-based epoxies, unsaturated polyesters, two-component polyurethane systems, alkyds and UV systems.
  • The recommended dosage level is 0.05-0.50% by weight in the formulation.
