Hostanox® P-EPQ

Hostanox® P-EPQ is a highly efficient phosphorus-based secondary antioxidant by Clariant. Designed for automotive and industrial coatings, powder coatings, coil coatings and specific solvent-borne automotive coatings. Prevents thermo-oxidative degradation of polymers and development of undesired color (yellowing) during melt processing. Inhibits discoloration due to stoving/ NOx and reduces gas fading. Suitable for applications where polymers and/ or binders are cured at elevated temperature and require high thermal stabilization. Hostanox® P-EPQ shows high solubility in polymeric materials and broad compatibility in coating polymers.
