HARDLEN® F-6P

HARDLEN® F-6P supplied by DKSH is an adhesion promoter for polyolefin. This additive possesses excellent resistance against water, gasoline and gasohol after top-coating. It is used as a pigmented primer on PP/EPDM bumper and TPO without any pretreatments such as plasma, flame and surface-cleaning by solvent. It shows good adhesion to PP, TPO (thermoplastic olefin elastomer), PP/EPDM, EPDM and metal substrates without some physical and chemical pre-treatments such as framing treatment. It depicts excellent interlayer adhesion between primer and topcoat-paint (polyester-melamine-paint or polyurethane-paint). HARDLEN® F-6P displays good stability in low temperature, good compatibility with other resins and low temperature baking is available. It is available in Europe and North America.
