FOAM BLAST® 4201

FOAM BLAST® 4201 by DyStar is zero-VOC, 35% active organo-modified silicone defoamer. It contains no solvents or petroleum-based additives and does not swell in polymer print plates. It shows stability under high shear. It ages well in inks, maintaining its effectiveness over a long period of time. FOAM BLAST® 4201 is recommended for low-VOC architectural coatings, water-based industrial coatings, water-based flexo & gravure inks, high gloss coatings and clear industrial & graphic arts. It is suitable for dispersions and formulations that contain suspended particles such as pigment grinds. The dosage level of the grade is 0.2-0.5% for general, 2-4 pounds per 100 gallons of coating and 0.2-0.6% for inks.
